About me
I am a specialist in oral surgery with many years of clinical and scientific experience. I am particularly interested in digital implantology – a combination of modern imaging, precise surgical planning and gentle surgical implementation. I am convinced that modern dentistry enables the best possible individual care, above all through interdisciplinary cooperation and the use of the latest technologies.
I am delighted to be part of the team at Breitenbachplatz and look forward to contributing my knowledge and experience to daily patient care. My aim is to make procedures not only technically precise, but also as stress-free and transparent as possible for patients.
My professional career
I completed my studies in dentistry at the University of Tübingen, where I also obtained my doctorate. I completed my further training as a specialist in oral surgery at the University of Zurich and at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, where I also obtained my habilitation. Since 2021, I have been Professor of Digital Implantology at Charité and the Einstein Center Digital Future.
In addition to my university work, I have also been practising for many years – both in surgical patient treatment and in implantological care for complex cases.

Our oral surgery services are not only available to our existing patients – new patients and patients from other dental practices are also very welcome.
Please understand that new patients are always registered by our dental team. Before any surgical procedure, we carry out a detailed examination and consultation. This ensures that the treatment is planned and coordinated in close consultation with Prof. Dr. med. dent. Andreas Schwitalla – and fits seamlessly into your overall dental care.
Direct appointments with the surgeon are therefore not possible, as oral surgery is only one part of the overall dental treatment. We thank you for your understanding – and look forward to meeting you in person.
